Raising Breast Cancer Awareness in DC

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which may seem like a strange topic for a Washington DC blog. Unfortunately, the District of Columbia ranks highest in the country for breast cancer mortatily. The good news is that Project WISH (202-442-5900) provides mammograms to DC's uninsured women.

Disclaimer: While we urge eligible women to call Project WISH, Best of Washington DC T-shirts and Gifts is not affiliated with Project WISH.
