Michigan Park resident starts home renovation blog

Michigan Park resident Danielle has started a home renovation blog to chronicle the remodel of the home she shares with husband Brian. Danielle writes:

"The goal was- renovate the kitchen, renovate the master bath, add central air, finish the basement. Phew. That's enough to make anyone's head spin!"

She promises to update the blog with photos soon.

From cherry blossoms to monuments, Daily's photographs of Washington DC area scenes are available on throw pillows, coasters, and tile boxes. In addition to being beautiful, Daily's tile boxes are practical and can be used store small items, like jewelry.

Brookland Area Writers and Artists (BAWA) calls itself a grass-roots arts group dedicated to creating community & fostering mutual support among writers and artists in the Brookland area of Northeast Washington, DC. On the first Wednesday of each month, BAWA hosts a poetry reading from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Brookland Visitors Center (3420 9th Street, NE).
