Anti-War Protest Announcement From the Brookland Listserve

The following message is from Jim on the Brookland listserve:

A major march against the War in Iraq will take place this Sat., January 27 at 11AM.
Assemble near the National Museum of the American Indian (on the Mall,
c.3 blocks South and West of Union Station Metro). March around the
Capitol. Since we have no remaining war aims in Iraq (having proven
there are no WMD there, having removed SH), U.S. presence in Iraq will
be endless in the absence of protest.

And from us: If you can afford it, please donate to defray travel costs of attendees who don't live in DC. Here's the link. Thanks!

As President Bush, Congress and the nation consider a policy shift in Iraq, all would do well do remember the following quote from President Franklin Roosevelt. FDR said: "The structure of world peace cannot be the work of one man, or one party, or one nation."
